VINCE NEIL

LEAD SINGER FOR MOTLEY CRUE

After twenty years, a dozen albums and an unparalleled swath of kick-starting the rock n' roll hearts of several generations of fans, you really ought to have Motley Crue figured out by now. Motley Crue is one of the most dynamic and energetic bands to ever grace the stages of rock 'n' roll. As the lead singer of this legendary hell-raising band, VINCE NEIL is without a doubt one of rock 'n' roll's quintessential front men. Motley Crue established itself in 1981, when it came roaring off the strip with Too Fast For Love, an independently recorded slab of crunch that mixed metal with punk and melodic pop sensibilities -- a blend that would become THE rock sound of the `80s and influence scores of other bands.

DAVE MASON

At age 18, the Worcester England native teamed up with Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi and Chris Wood to form the legendary band Traffic.  At 19, Mason penned the song “Feelin’ Alright.”  This song has since become a rock and roll anthem, having been recorded by well over 48 artists, the best known version being Joe Cocker.  The group’s profound influence over rock music remains unquestioned even today.

Mason departed from the group after their second album.  In 1969 Dave headed for the USA to pursue a solo career.  He struck gold with the album “Alone Together,” considered a rock classic.  This was followed by five albums for CBS/Sony including “Dave Mason,” and “Mariposa De Oro,” four of which received gold albums.  “Let it Flow,” which has gone well over platinum, contained the classic “We Just Disagree,” a top-ten single!  All these albums are currently available on CD.

In October of 1993, Dave Mason formally joined the legendary group Fleetwood Mac and spent two years touring with them around the world.  The band completed an album for Warner Brothers called “Time,” which was released in October 1995, and features Dave’s lead vocals on songs including “Blow By Blow” and “I Wonder Why.”

For this summer’s tour Dave’s band consists of Alex Drizos – Bass; John Sambatero – Guitar; Bill Mason – Keyboards and Alvino Bennett – Drums.
