Robert has been surrounded by Southern Rock Musicians his entire life and has been a Roadie, Stage Hand and Guitar Tech for other tribute bands. 

Pat Smythers, a regional guitar wizard, inspired Robert to study and start playing Lynyrd Skynyrd - not as a cover but rather duplicating the nuisances and detail of the legendary band.

During his first audition with Skynnyn Lynnyrd, Robert "NAILED" the lead solos on Freebird - note for note.   Since that time he has demonstrated superb control, discipline and unbelievable hand-tone.

Robert has shared billing and held court with the likes of Vince Neil, Dave Mason and Foreigner.  He continues to amaze the crowds with his articulation of Allen Collins' trademark licks and high energy performances.

Robert is Skynnyn Lynnyrd's "slide guru" and resident "wild one" on stage...if we could only bottle up that energy and sell it, we'd be rich!  Hang on y'all...!
